One syllabus, every state — and this is where it is written.
UGC's SET Guidelines 2023 do not merely permit a state to follow the national syllabus. They require it:
"Further, nomenclature and the syllabi of SET subjects will be same as those of UGC-NET /Joint CSIR-UGC Test. However, the structure of question papers shall be as prescribed for UGC-NET."
So SET Psychology's syllabus is UGC NET Psychology's syllabus — the same ten units, in the same order, whichever state you sit it in. A state cannot add or drop a unit.
Unit titles are reproduced exactly as the UGC document prints them, including its own inconsistent capitalisation. They are not tidied: you revise from this list, and a reworded unit is a unit you may study in the wrong direction.
The full topic breakdown for each unit is on the UGC NET Psychology page — the same document, so it is written once rather than restated here.
Material prepared for UGC NET Psychology is material for your state's SET. What differs between states is not what to study but how each state has historically asked it — which is why each state page carries its own previous-year papers and its own preparation notes.
