No university, college or board is named anywhere on this site, and none has reviewed, approved or commissioned this material. Where a paper code such as PSY404 appears, it is used because students recognise it, not because it identifies an institution or implies a relationship with one.
What these notes are
They are one teacher's explanation of a topic, written so that a student can study from them without having attended the lecture. They are a study aid.
What they are not
They are not a syllabus, and they are not a substitute for the one your department has issued. Syllabi differ between universities and change between years. Always check your own department's current syllabus and marking scheme before you rely on any coverage here.
Nothing here guarantees a result in any examination. No pass rate, grade or score is promised, implied or predicted.
Accuracy, and how to challenge it
Psychology moves. A figure that was standard teaching five years ago may now be contested, and some widely repeated claims in popular writing do not survive contact with the literature. Where this material disagrees with a commonly taught claim, it says so and explains why.
