Our claim
PsychologyGeet aims to conform to WCAG 2.2 level AA, and is designed in line with the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.
We state gaps openly below. An accessibility statement that claims perfection is not a statement, it is marketing.
What is already true
- Every page is real HTML text. Notes are never images of text, and never a PDF embedded in place of a page. Screen readers get the same words you do.
- The site ships no JavaScript. Nothing depends on a script running.
- Headings are properly nested, so you can navigate by heading.
- Every page has a skip link to the main content.
- Navigation menus use native
<details>disclosure, so they work with a keyboard and are announced correctly. - Colour is never the only way information is conveyed.
- Pages reflow to 320px without horizontal scrolling.
- Text can be resized to 200% without loss of content.
Known gaps
- Colour contrast has not been formally audited across every brand colour pairing. We believe it passes AA; we have not proved it.
- No formal audit by a third party has been carried out.
- No testing with real assistive-technology users has been done. This is the gap we care most about closing.
- Downloadable PDF and Word files are not yet checked for tagged-document accessibility.
Tell us
If any part of this site is hard to use, please write — see contact. Describe what happened and what you were using; you do not need to know the technical terms.
Accessibility complaints can also go to the grievance officer, with the same deadlines as any other complaint.
