Terms of service

The agreement covering your account, the content licence, and fair use.

Who we are

PsychologyGeet is an independent education portal written by Asst. Prof. Geetika Rai. It is not affiliated with any university — see the disclaimer.

Your account

Accounts are free. Every registration is approved by a person, which usually takes about a day. We may decline an account; if we do, you may appeal once.

An account is personal to you. Do not share the login. If a login is shared, we may suspend it.

You must give accurate details. Claiming to be a teacher when you are not is a misuse of this site, because teacher access includes question banks and answer keys that exist to be used in assessment.

What you may do with the content

Student notes are free to read in full, by anyone, without an account.

Everything else is licensed to you personally for your own study or your own teaching. The details are in content licensing and permitted use.

What you may not do

Accuracy, and the limits of what we promise

We work hard to be accurate, and we correct errors when they are reported. But these notes are a study aid, not your syllabus, and no examination result is promised or implied. Always check your own department's current syllabus.

Suspension

We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, that harms other users, or that is used to redistribute the content commercially. Where it is possible to warn first, we will.

Your content

Error reports, responses and anything else you submit stay yours. You give us permission to use them to run and improve the site. See user content and conduct.

Not a mental-health service

Please read this. It is the one part of these terms that could matter to you personally.

Changes

If these terms change materially, account holders will be told. The last-reviewed date at the top of this page is always current.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
