Schools offering Psychology in Class 11 and 12
The question no board publishes an answer to:
which schools actually offer Psychology at +2? Every school
here is listed because its own published documents say so — and the page
shows you which document.
Compiled by the PsychologyGeet team.
Why this list has to exist
Psychology is an optional subject at senior secondary,
and whether a school offers it is decided school by school. No board
publishes a list. So a family that wants it faces a genuinely difficult
question at exactly the moment a child is choosing a stream — usually with a
fortnight to decide.
The usual answer is to ring round. This is meant to shorten that.
What an entry gives you
- That the school offers Psychology at Class 11 and 12,
with the school's own document behind the claim.
- Where the school is, down to the district.
- When the claim was last confirmed, so you know how
fresh it is.
What to do with it
Ring the school before you act on this. Subject offerings
change between sessions, and a school that offered Psychology last year may
not run the section this year if too few students opt for it. This list tells
you which schools are worth ringing. It does not replace the call.
What we will not do
We do not rank schools, we do not accept payment for a listing, and we do
not add a school on the strength of somebody saying so. If we cannot
point to the school's own document, the school is not here — which
means this list is shorter than it could be, and that is the deliberate
choice.
Know a school that offers Psychology and is missing, or
spotted something wrong? Tell us — it reaches a
person, and you do not need an account. Deciding on the subject itself?
Here is what CBSE Psychology actually covers.
How this list works
Browse the way you'd search: pick your state or union
territory, then your district, then your board — every school under it opens
its own page with the full facts. Only schools whose Psychology offering is
evidenced from their own published documents appear here at all; this is a
directory of schools offering Psychology, not of schools.
Every fact carries its source — a school's own subject scheme, its CBSE
affiliation record — and the date we checked it. Where a fact is not
published by any source we trust, the page says not published
rather than guessing. Corrections are free, always:
report an error.
