For the stretch of a psychology degree nobody teaches
properly: choosing a method that answers your question, building a thesis an
examiner can follow, and getting published somewhere real.
Guidance from Asst. Prof. Geetika Rai, who
supervises this work — and who will tell you when a method is wrong for a
question, before you collect the data.
Who this is for
Three people arrive here, usually at the worst possible
moment. If one of them is you, start at the section named for you.
You have a research question and no design
Or a design somebody handed you that does not fit the question.
Research methodology is where that
gets sorted — and it is far cheaper to sort before data collection than
after.
You have data, a deadline, and no shape
The chapters exist in your head and refuse to become a document.
Thesis and dissertation is about
structure and argument — the shape an examiner is reading for.
You have a finished paper and no idea where to send it
And an inbox full of journals promising publication in two weeks.
Publication and APA covers choosing a
journal honestly, and spotting a predatory one before it has your
money.
What we do not do
We do not write your thesis, dissertation, chapter or paper.
Not any part of it, at any price.
The line between guidance and ghostwriting is the line between help and
academic misconduct, and the person who carries the consequence of crossing
it is you — not the service that offered to.
We also do not run your analysis and hand you the results to present as
your own, do not supply data, and never guarantee publication,
because nobody honest can.
What we do instead: teach you the method, read what you
have written and say where the argument breaks, and show you how to find the
answer next time. That is slower, and it is the only version that leaves you
able to defend your own work in a viva.
Research methodology
Choosing a design that answers your question, sampling, measurement, and the statistics that follow from the design rather than the other way round. Where a method is wrong for a question, we say so before you collect data — which is the only point at which saying so is still useful.
Structure, argument, and the chapter-by-chapter shape an examiner expects — plus the parts students consistently underestimate: the literature review that has to argue rather than list, and the discussion that has to say what the results mean rather than repeat them.
Choosing a journal honestly, reading a scope note properly, APA style applied rather than guessed at, and what a predatory journal looks like before it has your money. Rejection is part of the process and we will tell you when a rejection was the right call.
Read the section above that matches where you are, then
get in touch with your question, your stage, and your
deadline. You will get an honest answer about whether this is the right help
— including when it is not.
If what you actually need is the subject itself rather
than the research process, the university papers
are free to read in full, and the
UGC NET material covers research
methodology as it is examined.
