This covers everything you can submit: error reports, feedback, and — when it ships — classroom responses in PsychLab.
The rules
- Say true things. A deliberately false error report wastes a person's time.
- Do not submit anyone else's personal information.
- Do not submit health or mental-health information, your own or anyone else's. It is not needed for anything here, and this site is not a place where it can be safely held.
- No abuse, harassment, or material that is unlawful.
- Do not use submissions to advertise.
Classroom responses (PsychLab)
When it ships, responses given in a teacher's classroom session are visible to that teacher. Students are told this before they answer, every time. A teacher may moderate or remove a response in their own session.
Responses are not published publicly, and are not shown to other students' teachers.
Attribution
If we quote your error report in a correction note, we ask first, and we accept no for an answer.
What happens when a rule is broken
A first breach usually gets a note explaining it. Repeated or serious breaches are recorded against the account and can end in suspension. A strike record is visible to you — you will never be suspended by a process you could not see.
Appeals
Every moderation decision can be appealed once, to a person who did not make it. See grievance redressal.
