Government College, Sector 1 is the only psychology-degree institution the Haryana admissions portal returns for the whole of Panchkula district — which makes it the district's de facto centre for the subject. The state's live 2026-27 portal lists a BA with a major in Applied Psychology (forty seats), an MA in Psychology (sixty seats) and a PG Diploma in Guidance, Counselling and Psychotherapy (thirty seats), under Kurukshetra University. The college's own website is currently dead, so no site link is rendered; the portal is the living source for this record.
