Post Graduate Government College for Girls, Sector 42 carries psychology as a major and minor through the four-year undergraduate framework, within a BA pool of seven hundred seats — the modern NEP route by which most students now read psychology at degree level. The college holds a NAAC 'A' grade. It offers no MA in psychology; its postgraduate slate runs to political science, public administration and sociology.
