Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women in Sector 36-A offers one of the city's two MA Psychology programmes — forty seats, with a syllabus that runs through clinical disorders, counselling psychology and child psychopathology across its four semesters — alongside an honours BA in the subject and psychology as a component of the general BA. Six faculty teach the discipline. For a student who wants a women's college with a full undergraduate-to-postgraduate psychology path under Panjab University, this and its NAAC 'A' grade make a strong case.
