This is a record of the psychology teaching at GMCH Sector 32 — which programmes it runs, at what level, and what each one is recognised to award. It is not a prospectus and it is not a ranking.
Course names in Indian psychology are unreliable on their own: a BA in Psychology may be a full psychology degree at one institution and two psychology papers inside a general arts programme at another. So the programmes below are listed as they actually are, and every figure carries the source it came from — you can open it and check rather than take our word for it.
Where something is genuinely unknown the page says so instead of filling the gap with a plausible number. A seat count without the year it applies to, for instance, is unfalsifiable, so it does not render at all.
| Programme | Seats | Tuition | RCI |

| M.Phil Clinical Psychology | 8 (2025) | not published | Recognised · until Jun 2026 |
Absent figures say not published — we never fill a gap with a plausible number. Spotted something wrong? Tell us — corrections are always free.
Government Medical College and Hospital, Sector 32 runs one of only two RCI-approved M.Phil Clinical Psychology programmes in the Tricity — the professional route toward licensed clinical practice. Its entry in RCI's official register of approved institutions (code CH005) shows approvals running continuously since 2011-12, currently through the 2025-26 session with an approved intake of ten. The prospectus details a two-year course with eight advertised seats, an entrance test requiring a two-year MA or MSc in Psychology, a monthly stipend and modest government fees.
One caution the prospectus itself creates: its seat table is conditioned on faculty appointments, so applicants should confirm the intake ran in their cycle.
